Brock Brockway

Brock was born and raised in a Christian family in southwest Michigan and he was saved by Jesus at a young age after hearing the gospel from his parents and local church. He grew in his love for Jesus and his understanding of God’s glory and lordship through constant exposure to the Bible.  Along the way, Brock sensed an increasing desire to make the Lord known and to serve in the advance of his kingdom throughout the world. Brock graduated from Western Michigan University with a degree in engineering and Spanish and subsequently moved to Chicago for work. He served in a variety of lay leadership roles in his local church for many years before completing a Master of Divinity degree from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He then served bi-vocationally as the pastor of another local Baptist church prior to joining Immanuel with his family in 2024. Brock is married to Kristi, and they have four awesome kids. They spend a lot of time together and enjoy getting outdoors as much as possible. In his spare time, Brock enjoys reading, walking, listening to audiobooks and podcasts, playing music, and learning more about whatever topic happens to interest him at the time.
