Pastor Jeremiah and his wife are originally from Appleton, Wisconsin. They grew up in a large, non-denominational church and met when they were in middle school. Throughout the last decade, God has given them a deep appreciation for the Reformed Baptist stream of thought and their small community in a big city. Jeremiah came to know Christ around the age of 15 in response to fiery reformed-Baptist preachers. He moved to Chicago to attend Moody Bible Institute and graduated in 2015 with a BA in Theology. Jeremiah and Katie were married in 2012 and have three wonderful kids (Judah, Simone, and Hadassah). He enjoys Packer games, woodworking, spending time with his kids, talking theology and politics, reading, soccer, fixing his car, music, cooking, and the outdoors. He wants to see the people at Immanuel Baptist Church grow in humility and repentance, learning to trust and rejoice in the peace and security offered in the person of Jesus Christ.
