James grew up all over the US but his favorite place to be is Chicago. He attended UIC for Theatre Performance and continues to write, direct, produce and act. He got married to Macie in 2017 and they've settled in the Pilsen neighborhood. James felt a calling to campus ministry after understanding God's heart for discipleship and people who are "outcasts". He leads the campus work in Chicago for the Navigators mainly at UIC and Columbia College. James finds that prayer is essential to any work God is doing in Chicago and desires to see people falling deeper in love with God and each other through prayer. In his free time James enjoys seeing theatre, making theatre, and finding a good park to enjoy the sunshine.
